    Frontline & Hourly

    Housekeepers make sure hospitals are safe and clean for patients, staff, and guests. This role is patient- and customer-facing but does not require a college degree or previous direct experience. That exposure, combined with the training and resources you’ll receive, makes this an excellent launchpad into healthcare.

  • 02

    Early in Career & Salaried Supervisors

    With a strong understanding of the business, you’ll begin leading and guiding other EVS staff to make sure we meet the highest levels of cleanliness, quality, and service. You’ll focus on building strong relationships, innovating and improving, and focusing on clients.

    In-Unit Supervisors & Management

    This next set of opportunities gives you the chance to manage millions of dollars in volume and be the face of Crothall to our customers. You’ll flex your interpersonal and problem-solving skills regularly as you develop your team, manage a budget and deliver outstanding results.

Crothall Healthcare Facilities Management Career Path

  • 01

    Frontline & Hourly

    Whether you’re maintaining the grounds, HVAC systems, or boilers, this work behind the scenes lays the foundation for a positive healing environment. You’ll have the opportunity to take advantage of extensive training and learn about regulations but typically don’t need to come in with more than a high school diploma or GED.

  • 02

    Early in Career & Salaried Supervisors

    With a strong understanding of engineering principles, government codes and regulations, maintenance methods, and techniques, you’ll supervise and coordinate key activities in your hospital.

  • 03

    In-Unit Supervisors & Management

    You’re the main liaison between the customer and Crothall FM. You’ll work with all facility levels to manage building maintenance and coordinate construction while leading an incredible team in these roles. At this point, you’re a government code, regulation, and maintenance expert.

  • 04

    Regional & Senior Leadership

    You’re the primary representative of Crothall Healthcare FM for your region at this level. You’ll help your area succeed by supporting your teams to meet their goals and ensuring management at each location is hitting its corporate, regional, and financial targets.

Join a team of 400+ that are 100% focused on delivering positive patient experiences. In-unit patient experience associates serve as the patient’s voice and are the reassuring presence within the first 24 hours of a patient’s hospital stay.

Crothall Healthcare Patient Experience Career Path

  • 01

    Frontline & Hourly

    If you’ve always wanted to work directly with patients, but never had a desire to pursue nursing or med school, this is a great starting point for you. As a patient experience ambassador, you’ll spend most of your time visiting patients in your local hospital, making sure they have the best experience possible. You’ll need to provide daily, weekly and monthly documentation, so computer experience will come in handy.

  • 02

    Early in Career & Salaried Supervisors

    Continue working mostly with patients, but in this expanded role, you’ll also spend time rounding with nurses and other hospital staff. They’re some of our closest partners and contribute to making a patient’s visit great. While your influence grows, you’ll also begin building management skills by supervising patient experience ambassadors, tracking patient satisfaction data, and providing training for your teammates.

  • 03

    In-Unit Supervisors & Management

    Lead your team to deliver the best financial and regulatory performance, plus positive outcomes for patients and nurses. At this level, you’ll ensure your department functions at peak performance and stays compliant with all regulatory agencies.

  • 04

    Regional & Senior Leadership

    At this level, you’re leading leaders. You’ll be responsible for communicating best practices and updates across your region and frequently travel to hospitals to meet with their patient experience managers, providing support and guidance. At times, you’ll audit different units to make sure we’re doing the best we can. You might also have opportunities to participate in sales presentations, too.

Work directly with patients and nurses by providing one-to-one, around-the-clock compassionate care for the patients who need it most.

  • 01

    Frontline & Hourly

    Begin a career in healthcare directly serving patients who need the most compassionate care. Patient observation attendants provide one-to-one monitoring for high-risk patients. It’s rewarding knowing you’re preventing these patients from falling or experiencing other setbacks.

  • 02

    Early in Career & Salaried Supervisors

    You’ll develop your leadership and communication skills in these roles as you oversee other patient sitting and observation staff. You’ll also connect directly with the client at your facility and, in some cases, receive cross-training from Patient Transportation or other teams.

  • 03

    In-Unit Supervisors & Management

    Lead your team to deliver the best financial and regulatory performance, plus positive outcomes for patients and nurses. At this level, you’ll ensure your department functions at peak performance and stays compliant with all regulatory agencies.

  • 01

    Frontline & Hourly

    Patient transporters and flow coordinators directly support moving patients to their appointments within the hospital or assist with arrivals and discharges. In these fast-paced roles, you’llb learn how to navigate your facility, interact with patients, and develop your service skills.

  • 02

    Early in Career & Salaried Supervisors

    You made it to the next step! Patient flow managers are responsible for serving and leading a team of transporters. You’ll continue developing customer service skills as you interact with clients and get innovative, helping your team improve patient flow at your hospital. You’ll also ensure your teams stay regulatory ready.

  • 03

    In-Unit Supervisors & Management

    Lead the way at your hospital. Unit-level supervisors and managers ensure we deliver the best financial and regulatory performance, high customer satisfaction, program quality standards, and outstanding patient experiences. At this level, you’re responsible for the patient transport team overall and ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies.

    Regional & Senior Leadership

    You’re a leader of leaders and the primary representative of Crothall Patient Transportation for your region. Lead your territory by coordinating and directing all activities through your managers and directors so that each location meets regulatory standards and hits its corporate, regional, and financial goals.
